Growing like a weed

Tyce had his 4 month check-up last Thursday. He weighs 16lbs 12oz, and is now in the 76th percentile in that category. His height is 26 1/4" where he is in the 90th percentile. He seems to be thinning out somewhat as last check-up he was in the 90's for everything! We're so proud of this precious guy.

He is practicing sitting by himself lately. When we're snuggling with him in our laps he's still doing sit-ups to try to have his own independence. He's definitely a busy boy. He seems to be constantly running with his legs any time he's laying down. I went grocery shopping tonight, and people were cracking up at him because he was running so fast. Another Mom laughed as she told me this was an indicator of what's to come as soon as he can walk. :)

Poppie was as entertained as we were by the running. Listen to the "oohing" and "aawing" in the background. I'll never get tired of that :)

Oh, also of new happenings with us: We got a new car! Yay! I don't have any pictures yet to post, but it's a 2011 titanium gray Kia Sorento. We absolutely love it. It replaced the Jeep because we needed something bigger, more reliable, and with better fuel efficiency.
